It all started in 2008 when Scott and Alicia first crossed paths, here is Alicia’s version of their love story.
We met in 2008. I was the cashier at ez lube and he came in one time for an oil change and I was instantly in love (lol) I was way too scared to talk to him so I just watched him drive away! For the next 6 months he drove by the shop on his way to work and on the way home and I just called him the “hot guy in the Nissan” (he had a titan) and I told all my co workers “I’m gonna marry that guy some day” and we all had a good laugh. Finally the day came and he was back for another oil change and this time I was the manager and all my employees disappeared so I had to talk to him! I tried to up sell him on some tires and he quickly shut that down, so I offered a discount on an oil change and he came back with his Dad’s truck. I finally had the nerve to ask ” You’ve been here four times and I still don’t have your number”, Scott quickly held up a piece of paper and said ” Well I have yours”. One of my employees gave my number to him and said ” Please call her, we are tired of hearing about the hot guy in the Nissan”. We hung out that night and moved in three weeks later, the rest is history!
Scott proposed to Alicia on Christmas eve 2009. Cozied up to a warm fire next to a beautifully lit Christmas tree Alicia expressed to Scott that they should each open one present. They agreed to each open just one, after Scott opened socks and underwear from Alicia he kneeled down on one knee appearing as if he were looking for something and held up a ring box with a beautiful engagement ring in hand asking for Alicia’s hand in marriage. On May 5, 2016 they tied the knot in front of family in friends in a beautiful outdoor ceremony. They shared intimate hand written vows and celebrated the night away as the official Mr. & Mrs. Coe.
